You know how your mum promised you something as a child and then she
forgot. or couldn't give it to you...and how bad she would feel later that she
would try so hard to make you smile....that is me this instance...two posts in
one day!! love me again...pretty please, I come bearing gifts
Okay, so you also know how I love DIY projects, and how if I can do it
myself I just have to
Also...how much I love clean, organic, safe products for meals, skin, and
drinking, breathing...apart from my cigarettes lol
And also...wine
This post is a bit of everything..
I learned this little effective exfoliating face mask from SkinnyWifeLife
(on twitter)'s blog...
The aspirin mask...
basically, you just need six aspirins, and some water.
dissolve the aspirin on the palm of your hand with a dribble of water, it
will form a paste, which you apply on your face...i gently scrub mine in, but
you don't really have to...and that is it!
PROS
its cheap..this is seriously the only exfoliating scrub i know that is
under ten shillings.
Its anti inflammatory....for those with trouble skin, this really helps
with the swelling and the redness of spots on your face.
It opens up your pores, I used to think that I had really dry skin, and
every scrub and wash I used would leave me with chaffed painful dry skin on my
nose and cheeks...this makes my skin soft and moisturized...ofcourse I tested
it severally before I posted this. duh
Its also really good for your skin tone by the way, no more fifty shades of grey on your face ;)
So you wake up in the morning with a really fresh face.
I put it on for fifteen minutes, then wash off and pat dry...
For instance, in my fifteen minutes, I have been sipping the last of my
bottle of Frontera Carmenere 2010 that I have technically been babying for the last
week. Its a fairly cheap bottle, a good replacement for the Cassilero Del Diablo
Carmenere. Think, blueberries, plums and black pepper when you drink this bottle...its a really good red if I am being honest, because i am not exactly partial to reds.
So there..beauty and wine
Love, me
Lola
