Miley Ray Cyrus...i hated Hannah Montana. It was fake and loud like every other new-age Disney show. I hated Miley because she was a miss goody goody two-shoes with a grating voice and an annoying overbite.
I fell inlove with her when she got engaged at 18. To Liam-Smoldering-eyes-Hemsworth for that matter.
I honestly though, do not get the fuss over Miley's twerking ability or as far as general opinion goes, lack of. So she twerks? good on her! So she hangs out with Snoop and Pharell. GOOD! So she sings about molly and smokes weed..Fab!
Her VMA perfomance the other day was all the rage! I loved it! I loved it so much I have taken twerking as an activity when picking something off of the floor.
Oh there's my atm card on the floor...twerk twerk twerk as I pick it up.
Cupcake is watching tv. bends over and twerks.
Scrubs feet in the shower....twerk twerk twerk.
Is doing down ward dog during yoga...twerk twerk twerk.
ITS SO MUCH FUN!!
BUT...apart from the twerking...it was all about how Miley is a role model for our nieces and little cousins that got mothers and aunts ranting and raving about her bear onsies (where can I get one btw) and her molesting Robin on national- and worldwide, thank you internet, tv.
Miley is NOT Hannah Montana. She is Miley a Cali girl who looks dashing in red lipstick and thin gold chanel belts.
She is Miley, an entertainer with legs for days.
She is definately not our raciest raunchiest celebrity.
VMAs is known for stunning R-Rated perfomances...Britney anyone? Madonna and her twink studded back up dancers?
Almost everyone hating on the performance because ohmygod we thought Miley is virginal and pure dances along to Ke$has horrible music and sings along to Kelly-I-have-the-build-of-a-footballer-Rowland Kisses down low. I call hypocrites.

No one said Miley wants to be classy a la Gwyneth Paltrow. No. She wants to chill out in a boys locker room in jock straps and wear amazingly sleek stripped chanel suits.
If your main problem about the performance was her inability to twerk, and you have numerous videos of big booty belles doing their thing to prove your point. Good on you muchacha. Good on you.
And if your argument is that Miley as a role model is failing...tell me...did you expect her to put on a halo and perform a song that glorifies sex and molly? Let your children glorify Taylor Swift and her pretensious music about love as she sleeps her way through holywood.
Meanwhile, let Miley twerk her bony ass as much as she wants to.
The only advice though would be she really needs to tone her butt if she intends to show it off in public.
